GFS Melbourne Inc. and KidsPlus+ understand that establishing a Children’s Ministry Program can be a challenge in a variety of ways, so they offer a variety of supports.

 

Additional Support from the GFS Liaison Officer

The GFS Liaison Officer will maintain contact with the Children’s Ministry Worker, providing support, assisting with training needs of the Children’s Ministry Worker and the Children’s Ministry Volunteer Leaders in the Parish (if requested).

The GFS Liaison Officer will maintain documentation and liaise with the GFS Melbourne Inc Treasurer for all financial payments.

Additional Support from the Start-Up Gift

GFS Melbourne Inc. understands that establishing a Children’s Ministry Program can place demands on the finances of the Parish, therefore Start-Up Gift is available.

This Gift is to be used to assist in purchasing resources for a new program, such as stationary, games equipment, craft supplies, etc.

The Start-Up Gift will be provided in the first Package payment. It is recommended this be only utilised once the Children’s Ministry Support Worker has commenced in the Parish.
